The through-line.

I’ve spent my career at the intersection of finance and operations, drawn to the problems most people would rather avoid. From a Navy commission in 1991 to consulting for Charlotte’s banks, fifteen years at Bank of America, public infrastructure, and complex private-sector transactions, the work has always been about people, judgment, and staying in the room until the real problem is solved.

A career shaped by complexity, change, and the people inside both.

My career has moved through distinct eras: military service, banking through boom and crisis, public infrastructure, corporate transformation, and finally independent consulting work. Each chapter sharpened the same instinct: to stay with a difficult problem long enough to understand what it is really asking.

An NROTC scholarship at UNC Chapel Hill became a Navy commission in 1991. Service taught the value of preparation, judgment, and staying steady when the conditions change.

Giving back, deliberately.

Beyond my professional work, I care about giving back to the Dallas–Fort Worth community I call home. I’m drawn to efforts that create durable, meaningful impact — the same standard I bring to my work.

I’ve served on the UNT Board of Advisors and as a board member, then Chairman of the Board, at the Dallas Concilio. I also support the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and La Fiesta de las Seis Banderas.
